This sympathetically written play is an exploration of the relationship between family and friends.

When a stranger comes into Amy and her aunt Sylvia's lives he helps them to realise that their pre-fixed ideas do not represent reality. A deeper understanding changes the dynamics of their feelings for each other and they start to accept each other for their good qualities.

This play is written with a gentle humour, insight and humanity and the love story is handled with great understanding of a later-in-life romance.
